St.Michael's College

The personal well-being of each boy is central to the St. Michael's College Mission. Individual counselling plays an important role in each boy's mental, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual development. Mr Doolan is there as a support to students.  He is always happy to see a student who can be referred to him through their Year Head, the student themselves, a parent or a teacher.  Mr Hogan is also there as a Careers Guidance Counsellor.  He meets with each senior student regarding career choice throughout the year as well as meeting students for wellbeing check-ins.

In order to provide the best service possible, members of the Chaplaincy Team are also part of the Core Care Team at St. Michael's College.  The Core Care Team meets every two weeks.  The Chaplaincy Team also supports the Its Good to Talk Initiative below. Counsellors can be contacted directly by students by dropping into their offices in school, by email or by phone.
